Book Description:

Devin has achieved his goal of becoming Chairman and all seems peaceful...until Devin performs an act of cruelty that pushes Anna to fight back for the first time in her life. Meanwhile, Alex is working hard to give her something that Devin can never take away.
As her Masters work around her, Anna must navigate a life she never wanted.

There is a subculture within our own world that you’ve only heard whispers of. The conspiracy theorists wish they knew Anna’s story. What the conspiracy theorists think they know is only disinformation, put out there to keep them from the real story.

***NOTE***
This is not a stand-alone novel. This is the third of five novels that tell Anna’s story.

***WARNING***
This book is for grownups. This book is not for people who are easily offended, get nightmares easily, or have difficulty reading books about tough subjects. I do not glorify bad things, but bad things do happen to my poor characters. This is not your typical love story. My heroine does not fall in love and live happily ever after... at least not like the typical heroine. There is a happily ever after, but it is a long, painful journey to that end.

This book will likely offend you. This book might make you cry; it might make you throw up. It is a dark book. As my friend, Heidi, said, “It’s dark. It gets darker. It gets even darker, and then it gets even more darker. And then, just when you think it can’t get any darker, it does.”

But, don’t worry. I take you to the deep end gradually. 😉

There are many sexual situations in this series of books. People die. People get hurt. Things aren’t always truly the way they appear. The antagonist isn’t just a bad guy; he’s EVIL. My heroine’s worldview is skewed; things that may appall you are perfectly normal to her.

Any violence in this book is non-gratuitous and crucial to the plot and character development.

Do not read this if you are under the age of consent in your country. Do not get angry if the subject or actual book upsets you. If you're reading this, you've been warned.

My Thoughts:

Anna’s life has taken a turn darker, even though you would think it isn’t possible – but Marissa Honeycutt’s warning does not lie — Anna’s life gets darker and darker and darker and then, for a change of pace, it gets even darker.

There is not, honestly, much I can say in this review without spoiling things, but I will try:

Anna loses someone very dear to herself, after being (seemingly) forgotten about by Alex. Then she has a brief period of bliss, a reminder of the lost one and a new love to bloom. She finally is in reach of some semblance of happiness…. and then, in one fell swoop, ALL of it is obliterated. And Devin takes her deeper down the rabbit hole to keep control of her.

Devin is a master manipulator, and unstoppable. Alex is more than he seems. Anna has a strength that I’m not even sure she knows about, but the reader can see it between the lines. Even as she weakens further and further, you know that she’ll pull through because she is an extraordinary character.

Marissa Honeycutt’s storyline continues to amaze, astound, sicken and horrify the reader… and yet you can’t stop reading. Because, as dark as it goes, she has promised a happy ending, so you find yourself pushing through to the next.

Again, these books can be triggers for PTSD and you need a determination and strong sense of self to read these books. If you read her warning and think, ‘Maybe this isn’t for me’, don’t read it. If it only intrigues you further, grab all three of these books and await book #4 eagerly.

Honestly, grab the books and love them. But don’t say you weren’t warned.

Book Description:
Anna's entire life was scripted out before she was born by Devin Andersen, a man who doesn't have her best interests in mind. She is to be a tool in his hands to gain ultimate power in the USA. No, not as the President, but as the man who controls the President.

Raised by an extremely abusive guardian, Anna was molded into the perfect sex slave for Devin's use. Devin will use Anna's unique gifts to control everyone around him and eventually take her gifts for himself.

When Devin took her for himself at the age of twelve, she had a vision of a man. A man who Devin was very interested in. But why? Why would Devin care about a little girl's dreams?

************************** Warning *****************************

This series is for mature adults. This series is not for people who are easily offended, get nightmares easily, or have difficulty reading books about sexual, physical, emotional abuse and torture.

Book 1 is the lightest of the series. It is an introduction to Anna's world. If Book 1 is too dark for you, please do not continue the series. If it's not dark enough for you...heheheh...just wait. 🙂

Disclaimer: This book series is about a sex slave. Therefore, there is sex in it. Lots of sex. Other disclaimers: Physical abuse, emotional abuse, physical torture, sexual torture, rape, death, violence, violent rape, gang rape, anal sex, regular sex, violent sex, violent anal sex, sex with non-sexual objects, sex with sexual objects, m/f, m/m, f/f, m/f/m, orgies, bloody scenes, disturbing scenes, scenes that might make you throw up or cry, scenes that make my characters throw up and cry, mindfucks, cursing, drug use, multiple snuff scenes, disturbing rituals, manipulation, brain-washing, people in disturbing situations (duh!), imperfect heroes and evil antagonists doing evil things.

Not everything happens in the first book, but by the time you've read the series, you will have seen it all.

Do not read this if you are under the age of consent in your country. Do not get angry if the subject or actual book upsets you. If you're reading this, you've been warned.

But, I do promise a satisfying Happily Ever After.

Warning: This book has been known to cause book hangovers

I was honored enough to be a beta reader for this series and I fell in love with it right away. It’s a very dark series, but so compelling that you can’t help but find yourself following Anna further down the rabbit hole into the depths of depravity that await her.

In Part One, you only get a glimpse of what she’s gone through and what is in store for her. But believe me, as you read it, you will cringe and begin to cheer her on in your head… and when the book is done, you will be frothing at the mouth for more.

Ms. Honeycutt writes so descriptively and creates a world so believable that you can’t help but be drawn in and almost feel every lash of life that hits her characters. It’s not quite yet up to Game of Thrones standards but believe me when I say there is a definite comparison to be made of just what hell they go through.

Beware the this CAN be a trigger for some people and others will rage against the author for writing such darkness and depravity, but it is the courage behind these words and the effort to share this story with others that make me love her as an author and support her any way I can. As said in the disclaimer at the beginning, I am not being paid or given any compensation to write this — and this is just how strongly I believe in this book series.

Read it, beware that you’ll be drawn in and your favorite characters will go through hell, but when you all come out of it together, it will be well worth the ride.
