Ashlee Bennett has her priorities straight. Fighting demons is at the top of the list until she meets her sexy neighbor, Luke Byrne. Even though he is human, she can't stop dreaming about his buff body and sexy grin...until her dreams turn to nightmares.
Her world is turned upside down when Luke follows her one night, but instead of being afraid, he is only more determined to stand beside her and fight. Ashlee knows she needs to keep her distance from Luke, not just to protect her virginity but her heart as well. But Luke may be the only one who can save her from the night, and her dreams.
This story is written in the first person.
Ashlee Bennett is a nurse and meets her next door neighbor, Luke Byrne. She’s a demon slayer and he’s human. With Ashlee being a slayer, it makes her a little different from a human. She also loves the location of her apartment – demon central.
Ashlee finds that she needs help and ends up at a sex-toy shop to meet her mentor, Terry. She has questions that only he can answer. She’s rare among the slayer stories that I have read in the past. Now, I’m not going to tell you what makes her different – you’ll have to read the story to find out for yourself.
Lori gives her readers some hot and sexy love scenes between Ashlee and Luke. But you have to ask yourself if it’s real or just a dream? Read on to find the answers. Their interactions are very explicit but this is what makes us want to turn the page. Lori also puts a little mystery into her story.
Ashlee meets up with her friend, Dr. Rose Brady, for breakfast at the hospital they both work for. Being the good friend she is, Rose wants to know the status of her relationship with Luke. Ashlee then meets up with Luke. Please keep reading because it gets quite hot.
Ashlee’s dreams will also get your engines going. If you want a story that will heat you up on a cold night then “Soul Seduction” is for you. There’s not a lot of sex written into the story but Lori seduces her readers with innuendo. This is a great story without overdoing it with too much sex. We don’t have a choice, we have to turn the page because we need to know – did they or didn’t they.
I give “Soul Seduction” 4 flowers. Sensuality rating will be 4 flames. (Reviewed by Lynn from Romance Reader Enthusiast)
