My New Year’s Resolutions by A.M. Griffin
I’m taking over to reveal my New Year resolutions. I don’t normally do resolutions because frankly, no one ever keeps them, including me. This year I decided on a few:
1. Watch my spending habits
I spend like money is going to go out of style tomorrow. LOL. It’s quite ridiculous actually. Sometimes I think I should be in some type of support group. These shoes only cost $100, sure I’ll take them. My purse is not a bottomless pit of endless funds but that’s how I’ve treated it in the past. Now, I can say that I didn’t spend all my money on frivolous things. A lot of it last year was used to promote my books. And I do believe you have to spend money to make money. So I will still promote myself, but I plan to be smarter about it.
2. Save money
This goes hand in hand with number 1. If I don’t spend it all up then I should be saving some, right? Yes, that’s what I think. And then, when my bank account is spilling over in funds I’ll go on a shopping spree. No, wait…
3. Eat better
I eat like a teenage boy. Which spells disaster because I’m a middle aged woman. I’ve been on a diet since I was old enough to know what a diet was. Sad, but true. I don’t want to diet. I’m tired of it, so I’ve decided just to eat better. If it’s bad for me then I shouldn’t be eating it. If I do decide to indulge I have to understand that I don’t have to eat the entire portion, a couple of bites and then I should be done. This is a new concept for me and it might take longer to wrap my brain around than the first two resolutions.
I spend most of my day sitting at a computer, whether it’s at my day job or if I’m kicking out smexy stories. Inactive = gaining weight. I’ve started the 100 day challenge with a group of authors. I’ve exercised and stopped throughout my life. Starting to exercise isn’t hard for me. I go gung-ho, tearing up my treadmill, but it never fails, a month later, I’m in my work-out clothes, watching t.v. and eating chips. LOL. But this time, since I’ve committed to this 100 day challenge and I’m accountable to what I do I expect to get over the hump and keep at it (pray for me).
5. Worry less
Pretty much self explanatory. “Don’t worry about gravity.” That’s a saying I learned at a job once. It means, don’t worry about things that you have no control over. I can’t control most of the things that I worry about. I can’t control how each person perceives my books. I can’t worry if everyone in the world will like them or not. I can’t worry about bad reviews. But what I can do is write a good story that I think should be told. I can make sure that I only put out quality books. I can also make sure that I stay true to myself and my vision and in doing so my readers.
That my lovelies are my New Years resolutions!
UGR: So readers – have you made any resolutions?

Loving Dangerously, Book Three Jess hates aliens. After the invasion that destroyed Earth, the extraterrestrial bastards sold her to a brothel as a sex slave. She may have escaped but the old memories and fears still linger in the dark corners of her mind. Supposedly Sonis is just the place for her—somewhere safe, where she can heal and start fresh. She’s almost hopeful…until she meets Rasha, her new boss.
Rasha, Captain of the Sonis Royal Guard, is a warrior through and through. He’s huge, sinfully sexy and could have any woman on Sonis—but the woman he wants is Jess. He’s very much an alien and Jess knows she should hate him or at least be wary, but whenever he’s around, she loses control. She tells herself it’s only sex—amazing, mind-blowing sex like nothing else she’s ever experienced—but there’s something about Rasha that shakes her soul. The feel of his skin against hers, the look in his eyes as he touches her—they make her want to believe it’s possible to find love and begin again.

He inhaled sharply. “I can smell you.” Then he let his gaze drop to crotch.
Her hands instinctively dropped to shield herself.
She gasped as he dropped to his knees. “What are you doing?”
He wrapped his arms around her and cradled her ass. Her mouth dropped open as he nuzzled his nose between her thighs. “I can take care of this…you.”
She dug her nails into his shoulder blades. Should she push him away or keep him where he was?
He made a sound so animalistic. So hot and sexy that it made her pussy respond in ways she didn’t want it to.
“That’s it.” He sniffed into her.
His fingers worked in unison to massage her ass, all the while pulling her onto his face. She tried to stand her ground even when she rocked to her toes.
He looked up to her with eyes smoldering with heat. “Can I do it Jess?
She blinked, trying to remember his question. “Do…do what?”
“Lick you until you until you come.”
Her knees buckled.
“I want to taste you. I want to bury my face in your pussy. I want to…to…” Growling, he bit her.
