If you are a follower of Urban Girl Reader –MANY THANKS and if this is your first visit – WELCOME!

Since everyone needs a Rockin’ Read; I scrolled through the books I have read so far in 2015 and hunted down my 5 star ratings to give you an idea of what my top Rockin’ Reads for 2015 would be.  They are not listed in any particular order but the latest edition of the Kate Daniels series had me not only engrossed in all of the action, but had me laughing out loud at the banter from Kate and Currian. As I have mentioned to others, “I will NEVER look at another Applebee’s in the same light EVER AGAIN.”

Here are my top 10 Rockin’ Reads. Give me your top #1 recommendation for 2015 and be entered to win our prize package.

I like the Backstage Pass series. Aimee and the Heartthrob, Daisy and the Front Man, Anya and The Shy Guy, and Mia and The Bad Boy. Abby and The Cute One will be next. Fun, humorous band romance.

  2. Bube

    Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde.
Great titles, thanks for the books recommendations and great giveaway 🙂

  3. Oh choosing only one is so hard! I have had 7 books that got a 5 star rating so far this year and from those Summer Haikus by SJ Pajonas and Visions by Kelley Armstrogn are probably my favourites. I haven’t read any of the books you listed here, although I have heard of most of the authors.

  4. Valerie Bedell

Anything by Shelly Laurenston! Her books are awesome. Quite witty and pure fun.

  5. Ginger betty

I bought the ink and bone yest! So excited to read it now that i’ve seen it’s made it onto your rockin’ reads! I’ve also seen so much about the veil so think i need to check it out. I love anything by jennifer armentrout so i think i have to pick the return if i had to only pick one new release this year!

  6. Renee B

My Rockin’ reads are ANYTHING by Celia Kyle or Shelly Laurenston/G. A. Aiken. Just finished Impawsable and Howl My Name, both by Celia Kyle, and waiting not so patiently for the next Dragon Kin book to come out by G. A. Aiken.

Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win.

  7. Diana Ware Page

My all time for 2015 is SO.BAD. by Kelley Harvey if you love a good adult read with a few twists and turns you’ll love this book, and I too loved the latest Kate and Curran encounter, hilarious as always

  8. Irene Jackson

Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh. This is my favourite series and always worth the wait between books.

  9. Carol

This is tough, but I’ll go with “The Res of Us Just Live Here” by Patrick Ness! It’s amazing! 😉

  10. I have read so many wonderful books this year, it’s really quite impossible to choose a single favorite. At the top of my list is Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop (a novel of The Others). Since you mentioned Written in Red, I thought you might appreciate this book – though there is one other prior to this one (Murder of Crows). Anne Bishop has such a wonderful writing style, it’s hard to top her.

  11. veRONIca

I am obsessed with Joanna Wylde’s Devil’s Game. It is a part of my current biker binge 🙂

  12. Martina Koleva

This year I’ve been reading Kristen Ashley’s books and I have loved every single one of them. They are my #1 recommendation for any year! Seriously! Thanks for the great giveaway!

    • Congrats Martina!! You are the winner of the Rockin’ Reads Giveaway. Can’t wait to see what you select because I love Kristen Ashley’s books as well; although I am VERY far in being current.

      • Martina Koleva

Thank you! I received your email and I replied a few times. I didn’t get a reply from you so I’m worried you didn’t get them. Anyway thank you so much! I was wondering what to pick but I think I’ll go with an ebook copy of Hold On by Kristen Ashley. It’s the only book from the series I have yet to read and I really need it! I hope you got my emails.

  13. Aly P

I loved Nalini Singh’s new books and I re-read the Bedwyn family saga by Mary Balogh and I just loved them all 🙂

  14. Tanya Guthrie

I have read so many great books this year, plus I don’t think it’s in my genetic makeup to choose a favorite out of all of anything! 😉 One of my favorites this year was The Closer You Come by Gens Showalter.

  15. sarah s

Some of my favorites this year are The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows, Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas and Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop.

  16. K Davis

I’ve read a lot of books this year, and most were very enjoyable. I just can’t play favorite with my favorite authors. I read all types of romance, and have been reading more contemporary romance this year. Barbara Freethy is a new author for me this year, and I’ve read most of her novels and loved them all.

  17. BerkeleyHapa

Loved Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews! Also looking forward to the new Archangel book, haven’t read it yet!
