New York Times best-selling author Cynthia Eden continues her dark and sexy “Mine” romantic suspense series with…MINE TO CRAVE.

HE TAKES WHAT HE WANTS.

From the moment that billionaire casino owner Drake Archer sees Jasmine Bennett, he’s obsessed. Consumed by desire for the mysterious redhead, Drake will do anything necessary to claim her. Yet as desire rages between them, danger is stalking ever closer. Drake’s past isn’t dead, and the ex-Special Forces agent will soon have to face the ghosts he left behind.

SHE’S HIDING SECRETS.

Jasmine isn’t who she pretends to be. She’s a woman on a mission—and she’s supposed to be stealing secrets from the mysterious Drake. Falling for him isn’t on her agenda, but when lust and love tangle together, all the rules get broken.

AN ENEMY IS CLOSING IN…

When Drake learns of Jasmine’s betrayal…all hell breaks loose. He knows that he should turn his back on her, but it’s too late for him. He can’t let her go, but he can teach her a lesson. No one betrays him…not without paying a heavy price. Drake will destroy all of the enemies on his trail, he’ll bury his past, and he’ll teach Jasmine to want only him…just as much as he craves her.

Quiana’s Review:
Mine to Crave by Cynthia Eden, the fourth addition in the Mine series, had tons of action, suspense, and drama; there were mysteries to unravel, past histories to reveal, and a murderer to outrun.  All of these elements combined kept me invested in the story and the characters.  There was never a dull moment.  But at the center of all the action and drama, there was a love story that didn’t quite live-up to its potential.

I didn’t find Drake and Jasmine all that likeable (mostly Drake), but they were interesting characters.  On the one hand, there’s Jasmine, the beautiful redhead with a troubled past and possibly nefarious intentions towards our hero, Drake.  Then there’s the dark and mysterious casino owner Drake, who has shut himself off from positive emotions because of a devastating betrayal of the heart, and the tragedy that followed as a result of that betrayal.  Both characters had layers upon layers of back story to peel away, especially Jasmine.  Speaking of Jasmine, she was a difficult character to pin down: once I thought I had her figured out, Cynthia Eden would throw a curve ball that had me second guessing my initial opinions and thoughts about Jasmine.

But as interesting as I found Drake and Jasmine as individual characters, I can’t say the same about them together.  Mostly because I found the progression of their romantic relationship to be extremely fast-paced.  Although it was lust and obsession at first sight for Drake and Jasmine, they hadn’t known each other a good three days before they started entertaining feelings of love and togetherness.  Their initial interactions were rocky, and there wasn’t a lot of trust there between them, but they each became a temptation and obsession for the other.  But before they achieved their happy ending, they had to unveil the secrets they harbored, and survive the fury of a dangerous madman.

Over all, I liked Mine to Crave for the intriguing characters as well as the action, drama, and suspense.  The romance didn’t work for me, but there were enough shocking twists and turns that kept me reading.  (Reviewed by Quiana – The Book Lover
