Book Description:
The Amazon Rainforest still contains a few secrets.

One of these secrets is a hidden village of women whose history is filled with the horror of conquering men. When the princess of the Amazons falls in love with a weretiger biologist, the tiny village will be changed forever.

This collection contains the four previously published paranormal romance novellas in the Amazon Chronicles series: Jungle Heat, Jungle Fire, Jungle Blaze, and Jungle Burn.

Lynn’s Review:
This is a collection of four e-book novellas that are now published in paperback.

Jungle Heat

Adara meets a man who may be more than she can handle.  Rei is a paranormal fantasy come to life.  What makes this story interesting is their interactions.  I can picture Adara with her nose stuck up in the air.

The reader gets a real sense of their surroundings – just enough that you could set the mood.  With Sarah’s descriptions, it’s almost like you are witnessing what’s going on within the Amazon forest.  Even though the pages are few, the reader is not short-changed in any way.  Jungle Heat was a great book to start this collection off with.

Jungle Fire

Rubia Costa is relaxing in a hammock when Kyle Reynolds comes upon her.  Kyle is a shifter and he’s interested in Rubia.  This second story has a lot of action packed in just a few pages.  It’s a great follow up to Adara’s story.

These stories all revolve around an Amazon village and the women that live there.  It also revolves around some men that can all shift.  You know that these stories are going to grab your attention and you just won’t want to stop reading until you’ve finished the last word.

Jungle Blaze

Sol Rios is not comfortable with her surroundings lately.  Eduardo has not had success with women and it shows.  I’m envious of him though – he can shapeshift and sleep in a tree.  But even though I’m envious, our author has made him out to be a jerk.

What’s great about this collection, each story has a different theme.  Sol’s story has a lot of action and suspense.  It’s a great way to keep the reader’s attention.  The only thing it needs is to have some jungle sounds playing in the background.  If you ever decide to take a trip to South America, what a great book to take along.

Jungle Burn

Sabina Rukan has come to visit her friend Tiago.  But he can’t give her what she really wants.  Only Tiago’s friend Rafael can.

Sarah has saved the best for last.  What better way to end a collection than with the sexiest read?  It’s a great way to heat up those cold winter nights.  The only thing you will need to decide is if you want to buy each e-book separately or purchase the collection in paperback form.  And then stop over to the author’s web site, http://www.sarahmakela.com, and decide what book you might like to read next.  (Reviewed by Lynn Reynolds from Romance Reader Enthusiast)
