Book Description:
From the unorthodox author Eri Nelson comes a third glimpse into the dark primal world of the DHC (Dearhart Clan Series). With an adult laced premise, this dark tale once again leaves humanity’s reasoning aside in support of fast-paced desires that imprint their futures against a looming extinction.

With maddening revenge toward his creator, Wash holds the kidnapped key to Owen’s heart. However, her forced captivity is just a small obstacle to Kristen finding her way back to Owen.

Waging the war of inner turmoil Owen travels back to the pack where Kristen was last seen. Although he is not the only one who seeks the home of the clan, for four others travel now as well. Along with Thomas who brings his unwanted imprinted, Bry invades the wolfly space with an Ink that not only writes an ancient prophecy but leaves the clans alpha in peril.

Lynn’s Review:
Karina is a special young woman who is more than human.  And as I start to read about her, I wanted to have some of what she’s got.  Bry has found Karina and he’s also found his mate.  They both seem to be warriors but nothing with them goes smoothly.  We also read more about Thomas and Julia as well as Kristen ad Owen.

In this book, I felt like the clan is a violent society.  This is also a very physical story – you can just imagine how in shape these characters had to be- as well as being highly sexual.  This happened to be the first book I read.  Originally, I was disappointed in it and felt a lot was missing.  But once I read books one and two of this series, everything made a lot of sense.  And Eri leaves the ending open-ended – this must mean that we can expect another book (one can always hope).  It’s another short book that you can get done in just a matter of a couple of hours.
