Book Description:
Three delightful novellas featuring characters from Lori Wilde's New York Times bestselling book The First Love Cookie Club. First published as e-originals, they are now available in one volume and in print for the first time.

There’s a legend in Twilight, Texas. It says that if on Christmas you sleep with kismet cookies under your pillow and dream of your one true love, he will be your destiny.

Carrie, Raylene, Christine, and Flynn are all members of the Christmas Cookie Club. Each has a story to tell, and each discovers the miracles of the season and the power of love.

Carrie: Reconnects with her high school sweetheart . . .the only man she’s ever loved.

Raylene: Discovers that the daughter she gave away at birth is living right in Twilight . . .

Christine: Has given up on love . . . until the man ofher dreams walks through her shop door.

Grace: It’s Christmas Eve and Flynn and Jesse Calloway are thrilled to be expecting a new baby. Then Flynn’s car hits a patchof ice, and Jesse must move earth . . . and heaven . . .to save her and their unborn child.

Lynn’s Review:
The first story in this anthology is titled Carrie.

Carrie MacGregor owns a yarn shop – being the only leftie in a family of righties, teaching me to knit never worked.  Mark Leland is going to host a TV show and is coming home.  This should be an interesting reunion.

One thing I love about Lori is that she always finds a way to make the reader laugh.  She also creates scenes that as you watch it unfold, you can do nothing to stop what is about to happen.  This story is about two people that have a past but can they have a future.  Our author has you wondering what would have happened to our couple if Fate had not intervened.  But then again, this is what makes it a perfect Christmas romance.  It’s also a great way to start off this anthology.

The second story is titled Raylene.

Raylene Pringle is a former professional cheerleader who owns the local watering hole.  What I love about this story is that Raylene is a woman who is a little older than some but not too old to be in love.  This is also a story about second chances and isn’t that part of the miracle of Christmas.  We get a bonus with this story – two romances for the price of one.

It’s a very sweet romance that seems to have a good old-fashioned courting going on.  It would be a great story to read while cuddled up to your significant other.  With colder weather coming, what a perfect timing to read these great tales.

The third story is titled Christine.

Christine Noble owns the local bakery – not good for me, I’d eat all the merchandise.  On this particular day, she’s feeling a little sorry for herself.  Eli Borden has come to get a cake for his daughter.  We get the hint that our couple has a history.  Your interest is piqued because you want to see how this story is going to develop.  You may also find that you’ll start reminiscing about your parents during your teenage years.

Our last story is about Grace.

Flynn MacGregor Calloway is a very pregnant lady.  This is a story that will have you holding your breath – and glad the story’s not too long (you’ll start to turn blue if you hold your breath too long).  My light bulb finally goes on and you’ll understand why this is the last story of the group.  Jesse is her husband and you can tell how much he loves her.  It’s also a story that will bring tears to your eyes.

If you’re a fan of Lori Wilde’s books, this is another book that you will enjoy.  The stories are such that you could read them at any time of the year.  Depending on your preference, you can read it as a paperback, wait until December and get the e-book version, or maybe you want someone to read to you.  If you’ve never read her work before, what a great way to change that.
