Book Description:
A choice between two men? If only it were that simple.

Melissa Morgan seems to have it all…her modeling career is taking off and she's engaged to one of the most eligible bachelors in London. But when she finds Jonathan cheating on her again, Melissa finds solace in the arms of Riley, a sexy bar owner trying to recover from the heartbreak of his last relationship. Melissa shouldn't even want Riley, but she can't seem to stay away, especially when she finds in him everything that's missing in her relationship with Jonathan.

Melissa knows she has to make a hard choice, and when it comes to choosing between the life she's always wanted and the man she's falling in love with, she might find out that she can't have the best of both worlds.

Content Warning: explicit sex and strong language

Lynn’s Review:
Melissa Morgan has gotten hurt outside a nightclub and she’s none too happy about it.  And I get the impression that she’s a spoiled celebrity.  Riley has come to the rescue – a true gentleman.

Emily plays into the perception that models are entitled to go and have anything and anyone they want.  I love Riley’s response to that.  Jonathan happens to be her cheating fiancé.  He appears to be a man that seems so full of himself – God’s gift to women.  Melissa sounds like she needs to get her act together and she doesn’t appear to be able to take “no” for an answer.  Her mother, Theresa, is not even sympathetic to her daughter’s situation.

Lucy is in both books one and two but this story is not hers.  It leaves me wondering if Emily has plans for her.  But back to Riley – he’s just too good for Melissa (I’m just sayin’).  You will find yourself wanting to yell at her but you know she won’t listen.  I can almost picture her having been on “Next Top Model” – seems like quite the snob!  But then I also have to wonder if it’s all an act.

I loved that Emily gives her readers the happy ending but given Melissa’s job, I have to question if they will stay together – remember Christopher Knight, aka Peter Brady, and Adrianna Curry.  So this is where your imagination will have to take over.  You will need to give them the type of ending that you think they should have.

This is a great follow up to Business & Pleasure and I can’t wait to see what else Emily has in store for her readers.  The Best of Both Worlds is a hot and sexy read that you can get through in just a couple of hours.  And if you’re lucky enough to have some time, why not read both books in one sitting.  And if you’re really lucky, you’ll pick up book three, titled The Right Kind of Wrong, coming out on August 19. (Reviewed by Lynn Reynolds from Romance Reader Enthusiast)
