Book Description:
Luciana de Luca has a PhD in sass and gemology—and a problem. Her twin brother’s gambling debts have gotten out of hand, and a mob enforcer is blackmailing her to rob the latest, greatest mega-casino on the Strip. Although Lucy has worked her whole life to get away from her family’s grifter past, to save her brother, she dons three-inch heels and a sluts-r-us dress and struts into Alec’s Gerald’s casino, determined to put her long-forgotten thieving ways to the test again.

Alec Gerald, a shape-shifting dragon, has built the Crown Jewel casino to provide sanctuary for his people amongst the flash and awe of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the sexy little thief trying to steal his largest diamond exhibit turns out to be his mate, and he must woo her before he loses his dragon form forever. But before he can handcuff her to his bed and explain the details of a mating ceremony, an enemy attacks and threatens to destroy his casino, his people, and his newfound mate.

Lynn’s Review:
Dr. Luciana DeLuca is at the grand opening of a casino where she meets Mr. Alec Gerald.  At the opening there is a very grand entrance that amazes all those that attend.  This is also a place that has some very interesting rooms, which makes this casino unique.  But by the time I finished the book, I was a little disappointed not to learn any more about these rooms.  Since this is the first in the series, I’m hoping that subsequent books will have some of the residents using them.

Lucy has a brother named Joey and he reminds me a lot of my own brother.  He’s great at making bills but not so much at paying his debts.  And the sister is always there to clean up after him.  Do you have a similar sibling?  One who never changes?  Doesn’t learn from past mistakes?

But Lucy is very lucky.  She has a gentleman that’s giving her the royal treatment.  But he’s also a man with secrets.  Within the casino is a spa to beat all spas.  Susannah paints such a great picture that I want to get right on a plane and go check this place out.  I’m in awe of the creativity that this author has.  She has to create a world that sounds so real that her readers want to go and visit the place that she is describing – plus she adds in some great sounding food.  Sometimes it makes me very hungry!

Our author is also very good at teasing her readers.  You don’t want to have the reader get bored and not want to finish reading the story.  But by building the heat between Alec and Lucy, you have no choice but to turn the page – especially if you love dragon romances.  And if you like a nice sensual read you can’t go wrong with this one.  And then we have her next book in the series is titled Stop Dragon My Heart Around.  If you stop by her web site,, you can read an excerpt of the book but I couldn’t find a date when it will be coming out.  This is a must read series. (Reviewed by Lynn Reynolds from Romance Reader Enthusiast)

Sounds interesting. I love that the guy is a dragon shifter.

I totally feel your pain about the brother situation.
